As an ACP, we offer IBAO-approved training that ensures our participants meet the industry standards for professional competence and ethical practice.
1. Register with the International Behavior Analysis Organization (IBAO): Begin by registering as an IBT® candidate on the IBAO website. Upon registration, you will receive your own account on the IBAO platform. This account will serve as your central hub for tracking your progress, uploading certificates, and accessing resources.
2. Complete Required Educational Objectives (REOs): Complete 40 hours of Required Educational Objectives (REOs), covering key ABA topics. These hours can be completed either before or after registration. Once you've completed the REOs, upload your certificates to your IBAO account to keep your profile updated.

You can complete up to 30 hours per week, with at least one hour of supervision per week. Supervision can be direct or indirect and must be overseen by a certified International Behavior Analyst (IBA).
4. Earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs): Earn a total of 4 CEUs as part of your certification requirements, distributed as follows:
5. Pass the IBT® Examination: After completing your REOs and supervised practice, you will take the IBT® exam through your IBAO account. The exam will assess your knowledge and application of behavior analytic principles. Successful completion of this exam is required for certification.
6. Continue Supervision Post-Exam: After passing the IBT® exam, you are required to work under the supervision of an IBA. This ensures continued professional development and adherence to best practices in behavior analysis.
